Please Help Legal Aid Remove Barriers to Family Stability

Senior Attorney Donita Parrish, Project Manager for the Juvenile Custody and Companionship Clinic, pictured at Hamilton County Juvenile Court.
Our Kinship Care team helps relatives and family friends who are assuming custody of children no longer in their parents’ care. These “kinship caregivers” often need legal help to stabilize custody, get children enrolled in school, obtain income benefits, or address landlord-tenant problems to establish a welcoming home.
We also assist grandparents and other relatives who are filing on their own for changes in custody or visitation at the new Juvenile Court Custody and Companionship Clinic. Located at 800 Broadway in downtown Cincinnati, the Clinic is open Monday afternoons and Wednesday mornings.
Your generous financial support will help Legal Aid assist more families and kinship caregivers to maintain a safe, stable environment for the children in their care.
